Connecting Google Search Console
How to connect your account, choose the right property, and fix permission and expired-token issues.
Connecting
- Open the website page in your dashboard.
- Choose Connect Search Console and sign in with the Google account that has access to the property.
- Pick the property that matches your site (a
sc-domain:domain property or a URL-prefix property).
Permissions
We request read-only access to Search Console data. Access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and never reach the browser.
Common issues
- No properties found: make sure that Google account is added as a user in Search Console.
- Access revoked: if you removed access in your Google account settings, reconnect from the website page.
- Quota exceeded: Google limits requests. Wait a moment, then refresh the data.
Search Console data vs crawler data
Search Console data (clicks, impressions, position) comes directly from Google, while audit results come from the Mizan crawler. Each section clearly shows its source.
